WHY PMU?

Natural results that make everyday life easier.

Why Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup can gently enhance natural contours, restore visual definition where it is lacking and reduce the time you spend applying makeup every day. For me, the aim is never to change as much as possible, but to create a result that works with your face, your skin and your individual starting point.

That is why PMU is never a one-size-fits-all solution. Shape, colour, intensity and technique all need to be chosen individually – and not every form of pigmentation is equally appropriate for every starting point.

For me, good Permanent Makeup therefore always begins with a personal consultation and an honest assessment of what is both realistic and right for you.

Benefits of Permanent Makeup

Permanent Makeup can offer very different benefits – and often it is the smallest changes that make everyday life feel easier.

  • Less need to redraw brows, lips or eyeliner every day

  • Smudge- and water-resistant pigmentation once fully healed

  • Targeted visual balancing of missing colour, sparse areas or small irregularities

  • Shape and contour tailored to you, without having to look visibly made up

  • Practical if applying makeup every day has become time-consuming or more difficult because of your eyesight or dexterity

  • Depending on your starting point, options for visual reconstruction or camouflage

GOOD TO KNOW

Permanent Makeup is designed to last, but it does not remain unchanged forever. Pigments fade and evolve over time. How quickly this happens varies from person to person and depends on factors including your skin, the technique used, the pigments, UV exposure and the area treated.

That is also why pigmentation should not be planned around a short-lived trend, but around a shape and colour effect that will continue to suit you over time.

Who might Permanent Makeup suit?

Permanent Makeup can be relevant for many different people. Age or lifestyle matters less than what you would like to achieve – and whether your skin and starting point are suitable for the particular treatment.

Permanent Makeup may be worth considering if you:

  • would like to add visual fullness or definition to your brows

  • want to give your natural lip colour more evenness or definition

  • would like lasting definition along the lash line or with eyeliner

  • want to spend less time redrawing certain features every day

  • find applying makeup more difficult because of limited eyesight or an unsteady hand

  • would like to recreate suitable contours following hair or pigment loss

  • want a result that still looks natural and polished without makeup

What Permanent Makeup can – and cannot – do

Permanent Makeup works through colour, contour and visual effect. It can enhance existing features, balance differences in colour and recreate missing visual structure.

What it cannot do is change anatomy. Pigmentation does not physically make lips larger, it cannot fill a tear trough, and camouflage does not remove scar tissue.

Nor can an identical result be guaranteed indefinitely. Skin and pigments change over time, which is why I plan every pigmentation treatment with as much care, control and individual consideration as possible.

Natural results come first

Good Permanent Makeup does not need to look immediately recognisable as Permanent Makeup.

Shape, colour and intensity should sit naturally within your features, enhancing what is already there rather than covering it up. Some people want a result that is almost imperceptible; others prefer a little more definition. Either can be right when it is planned with intention.

That is why I do not work from a fixed template or apply the same trend to every face. What matters is that you still recognise yourself in the result and that it feels right for your personal style.

Could Permanent Makeup be right for you?

Permanent Makeup can make everyday life easier and support certain facial features over a longer period of time – but it should always suit you, your skin and what you personally want from the result.

You do not need to decide on a particular technique or level of intensity beforehand. I will look closely at your starting point and explain honestly which options make sense for you – and where the limits are.

If you are still unsure or would simply like to talk things through first, you are very welcome to get in touch.
