REMOVAL

A return to a more natural look.

Permanent Makeup & Microblading Removal without Laser in Unterföhring near Munich

Permanent Makeup does not always develop in the way you originally hoped. Colour, shape or intensity can change over time – or the result may simply no longer feel right for you.

In many cases, complete removal is not necessary. Carefully lightening the existing pigmentation may already create the right starting point for a more harmonious correction or new pigmentation.

For laser-free removal, I work with different remover methods. Which approach makes sense depends on factors such as pigment colour, existing layers of colour, depth, treatment area, your skin and the result you would like to achieve.

That is why every removal treatment begins with a careful analysis and a realistic assessment of what can meaningfully be achieved from your individual starting point.

Laser-free PMU removal – planned around your individual starting point

There are different ways to remove or selectively lighten unwanted pigmentation. I therefore do not rely on one method as a matter of principle, but choose the approach according to the pigmentation and skin in front of me.

My options include chemical remover methods as well as device-based treatment with the Rahimi Remover.

I use the Rahimi Remover particularly often and prefer it for many starting situations. That does not mean it is automatically the best choice for every pigmentation. The pigment, your skin, the treatment area and the result you want remain the deciding factors.

Laser treatment

Laser removal uses targeted light energy to treat and gradually fragment pigment. It is an established medical method and may be suitable for many tattoo and Permanent Makeup pigments.

With Permanent Makeup, however, certain pigment colours and compositions can present particular challenges. Before laser treatment, it is therefore important to assess carefully which pigments are present and which area is to be treated.

In Germany, Permanent Makeup may only be removed with laser by appropriately qualified licensed physicians.

Chemical remover methods

With chemical remover methods, a remover solution developed specifically for this purpose is introduced into the pigmented area in a controlled manner.

The treatment is carried out with similar precision and localisation to pigmentation itself. During the subsequent healing process, the existing pigmentation is gradually lightened or reduced.

Which remover can be used – and whether this method is suitable for the particular area – depends on the product, the existing pigmentation and your individual skin situation.

Chemical removers are among the methods I work with and, depending on your starting point, can provide a useful alternative or complement to device-based removal.

Rahimi Remover – my preferred method

For many pigmentations, I prefer to work with the Rahimi Remover. Unlike chemical remover methods, it does not involve introducing a remover solution or acid into the treated area.

The device-based method works with galvanic impulses and therefore follows a different approach from either chemical removers or laser.

I value the method because, depending on the pigmentation and treatment area, it allows me to work in a controlled, gradual way. It may also be worth considering for pigment colours that can be more difficult to assess with other methods.

Even so, I never choose a treatment simply because of the name of a technique. If another remover method makes more sense for your starting point, I will discuss that just as openly with you.

Which method suits your pigmentation?

Not every unwanted pigmentation responds in the same way. Colour, pigment composition, depth, existing layers of colour, age and previous treatments can all influence which approach is appropriate.

Your goal matters just as much. Does the existing Permanent Makeup only need to be lightened enough to allow a new pigmentation afterwards, or do you want the existing colour reduced as far as possible?

For that reason, I do not decide on a particular remover method before analysing the pigmentation. I choose the approach according to what makes sense for your skin, your pigmentation and the result you would like to achieve.

What individually planned removal can offer

  • Selective lightening or more extensive removal, depending on your goal

  • A choice of different laser-free remover methods

  • Individual assessment of pigment colour, existing colour layers and skin

  • The option to prepare specifically for a later correction or new pigmentation

  • A gradual treatment approach, reassessed after each healing phase

  • Removal and correction planning from a single point of contact

Complete removal is not always necessary

Removing every trace of pigment is not always necessary – nor is it always the most sensible goal.

Where the existing shape and colour can be corrected, selective lightening may be enough to create a better starting point for a more harmonious new pigmentation.

In other cases, reducing the existing pigment as far as possible over several treatment stages may make more sense.

I therefore plan the strategy with the desired final result in mind – not removal in isolation.

Your PMU removal treatment, step by step

Every PMU removal begins with a careful assessment of the existing pigmentation. Colour, intensity, visible layers of pigment, treatment area, previous treatments and the condition of your skin all form part of the planning.

Your goal is equally important. Sometimes selective lightening is enough to prepare for a later correction; in other cases, the aim is to reduce the existing pigment as far as possible.

Because the response of both skin and pigment can only be assessed reliably after healing, I always plan removal as a gradual process.

Six steps to targeted lightening

Consultation & analysis

We begin with a close look at your existing Permanent Makeup and your skin. I assess the colour, intensity, visible pigment layers, treatment area and any previous pigmentation or removal attempts.

Together, we discuss the result you want and what appears realistically achievable from your starting point.

Individual treatment planning

Based on the analysis, we decide together what goal makes sense and which of the remover methods I offer may be suitable for your situation.

This may mean selectively lightening the pigmentation in preparation for a later new treatment, or reducing the existing colour as far as possible.

The number of sessions required can only be estimated approximately at the beginning.

Preparation & anaesthesia

The treatment area is carefully prepared and hygienically cleansed.

If needed and appropriate, a topical anaesthetic can be used to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

Removal treatment

I then treat the areas we have defined beforehand using the remover method selected for your starting point.

The treatment is carried out gradually and with control. Only the areas that genuinely need to be lightened or removed for the planned result are treated.

How much the existing pigmentation has changed can only be assessed reliably after the subsequent healing phase.

Healing & aftercare

Immediately after treatment, redness, mild swelling and crust formation may occur. The skin then needs sufficient time and calm to regenerate.

Any crusts that form must be allowed to come away naturally and should not be picked or removed prematurely. During the early healing phase, avoid rubbing, unnecessary touching and other strain on the treated area.

The right aftercare also depends on the remover method used, the treatment area and your individual skin condition. You will therefore receive precise aftercare instructions from me and, where needed, skincare products selected specifically for the healing phase.

Only once the area has healed completely can we reliably assess how much the pigmentation has changed as a result of the treatment.

Assessment & further sessions

Once the area has healed completely, we assess together how the pigmentation has changed and whether another treatment makes sense.

Significant lightening or removal usually requires several sessions. How many are actually needed depends on the pigmentation, the method used, your skin’s response and the result you want.

I therefore plan each further treatment according to the healed result rather than following a predetermined number of sessions.

COSTS & PLANNING

The cost of your PMU removal

No unwanted pigmentation is exactly the same. Size, colour intensity, existing pigment layers, previous treatments, the method used and the result you want all influence the amount of work required.

For that reason, I price PMU removal individually following a personal assessment. Before treatment begins, you will receive clear information about the expected cost and the approach I recommend.

Together, we’ll decide which approach makes sense

Not every unwanted pigmentation needs the same treatment. I look closely at the colour, existing pigment layers, your skin and your overall starting point, and talk you through honestly which options may be appropriate for you.

Complete removal is not automatically the goal. Sometimes selective lightening is the more considered approach, particularly when a harmonious correction or new pigmentation is planned afterwards.

Nor do I choose a remover method according to a rigid formula. I work with both chemical removers and the Rahimi Remover, selecting the approach that best fits your individual situation.

If you would like enough time for this assessment beforehand, you are very welcome to book a personal consultation.
